t is important to help each other out. Whether that is giving someone a chance to show what they can do and showing them how to do it or just being a compassionate human and giving someone a chance.

My Dad was a small business owner who believed that everyone deserved a chance. He always had employees who had developmental disabilities. This is something that I have wanted to continue with.

Working with SCE LifeWorks presented me with an employee who is a gem. Finding reliable and conscientious employees are challenging at the best of times. What surprised me is how well they have adapted to the children and co-workers ; it can be a bit of a learning curve to figure out the how’s and why’s of children (and co-workers)!

This is definitely not a field for everyone! Having someone who is reliable and who is so enthusiastic such a bonus!
