What to expect at a Reverse Job Fair

At a typical career fair, candidates come to hand out resumes and engage in formal conversations with HR and recruiment representatives. A Reverse Job Fair is just as it sounds. A reverse of the collection of resumes and conversation. It is an opportunity for potential employees to put their skills and talents on display for employers to interact. 

What is different with our Reverse Job Fair

This is an opportunity to really get to know potential workers, their interests, and their passions, in a more relaxed and comfortable environment than traditional job fairs and recruitment drives. We bring qualified candidates with interests in different industries to attend and share their professional goals and personal acheivements.

Our workers in hospitality might include housekeeping, landscaping, front end and back end restaurant; warehousing might have qualified fork lift operators, or pick and pack specialists. We aim to match your business with this current group of candidates open to recruitment.

It was exciting to interview Megan at the start of her journey in 2022. Her determination and her focus were shining examples of the right person for the right job. Megan wanted to work in child care. And Anne Ross Day Nursery had a place for her. 

From the time she started to today has been an incredible path of growth and discovery. Megan has been able to attain her CCA (Child Care Assistant certification). She has become a vocal advocate and professional speaker, being interviewed for a conference presentation, attending the MCCA panel on Inclusive Employment and our own Annual General Meeting as guest presenter.
