Summer Program Wind Up – SCE LifeWorks

Our Summer Work Exposure Program for high school students had a wrap-up picnic (and portfolio presentation ceremony) today in beautiful Kildonan Park. Thanks to the students and families who came out to celebrate with us today.

Congratulations to all of the terrific and hard working students for completing your seven week work rotations! (Or almost completed – there are a few students who had a staggered start and are wrapping up next week). Wishing you all the best in your studies in the fall (including those starting Project SEARCH!).

Big thanks and kudos to our Summer Work Exposure Team: Katie (Coordinator), Job Coaches Abby, Eric and Isaiah, and Team Leads Erin and Jill!

Finally, thanks to all of our participating businesses for hosting students in their work experiences over the summer.

A special shout out of thanks to St. Vital Sobeys – Store 3226 and Kildonan Freshco for their generous contributions to our picnic.
